Less Than Jake: The Rest Of My Life

I've been a huge Less Than Jake fan since about 1996. In my world that's a long time. I've seen them in concert a few times and own every major CD release they've bothered to put out. For years they were classified as a punk-rock band with ska influences then came their most mass appeal disc, "In With The Out Crowd", in 2006. This standout single, "The Rest of My Life", had all the makings of a popular and radio-friendly single and it did receive at least some radio airplay but it, in turn, alienated longtime fans of the band. I personally love the song. It shows the breadth and musical talent of the group as a whole and shows that they can write mature and flat out beautiful, meaningful songs which carry over to well-produced and powerful videos.
